After his family is brutally murdered at the hands of the deranged Van Der Koy family, Boy (Bill Skarsgård) is left orphaned, deaf, and voiceless. Driven by his inner voice, which he lifted from his favourite childhood video game (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin of Bob’s Burgers), Boy escapes to the jungle where he encounters a mysterious shaman (The Raid’s Yayan Ruhian) who trains him to become an instrument of death. Training complete, Boy is set loose during the annual culling of enemies of the Van Der Koy family, where our hero unleashes carnage, delirious violence and martial arts mayhem on his road to retribution.
